24 Nassim Road is a two-storey Victorian-styled bungalow built in the 1920s and is located in the Whitehouse Park/Nassim Road Conservation Area. The owner had chosen to restore the main building, add a new extension beside it, and to reconfigure the internal layout for comfortable modern living. In terms of the restoration efforts, all architectural elements were retained, restored or reinstated to original form, which included the original stained glass panels, the wrought iron grilles, the internal stair and the light well with its moulded plaster panels and jackroof. The front verandah that extends outside the balcony was restored and kept open. The main entrance was relocated with a new car porch built, while the old entrance was transformed into an extra room.
